Since I was young, I have always been fascinated with the board game Clue and the popularity of its characters in western culture. However, these characters have not changed significantly over time and do not identify with a current young adult audience. My project, Clue Reboot is a contemporary take on the characters and brand of this classic board game. While balancing paying homage to the original characters’ personas, I designed new, modern, and culturally relevant character appearances and personalities. My designs give this brand new life, intrigue, and mystery to inspire a new generation.
