A relationship is defined by "the way two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected." My work recalls the way my connections to others have evolved alongside myself. Through the hurdles and changes that life presents, I have found that many of us are not prepared to face ourselves or those we love.

These photos depict my experiences as a first-generation lesbian daughter, granddaughter, sister, and partner. My experiences have been challenging to say the least. Growing up in a  Roman Catholic family and attending a private catholic school where my mom was a teacher posed some issues when I realized I was gay.
