Degree Awarded: Students typically obtain a B.S. in Biological Sciences (cellular/molecular/genetics or general biology track), but any track will work as long as entry requirements are met.

Ryan Sexton

Graduating Year: 2022

Education: BA Environmental Science major, Health, Community, Environment Track

Career: Currently enrolled University of Cumberlands Master of Science Physician Assistant Program

Attended Gateway Community and Technical College and obtained an Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degrees in 2019. Transferred to Northern Kentucky University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science (Magna Cum Laude). I am currently enrolled at the University of the Cumberlands in their Master of Science Physician Assistant program. In addition to becoming a PA, I have plans to give back to my community through educational efforts at the collegiate level.

  • State-of-the-Art Centers and Facilities: Students have the profoundly impactful opportunity to learn about the complexity of the human body in our cadaver lab, applying anatomy and physiology concepts they have previously learned in class in a lasting way.
  • Numerous Financial Aid Opportunities: NKU students are eligible for numerous merit- and needs-based scholarships. Scholarships are also available for students pursuing STEM majors, like the Greaves Scholarship, which covers full in-state tuition and books.
