Program Type: Undergraduate
Degree Awarded: Students typically obtain a B.S. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Track or a B.S. Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences Track because these degrees include all the requirements needed for entry into pharmacy school, but any major or track will work as long as entry requirements are met.
NKU’s Pre-Pharmacy program was designed for students who are passionate about solving real-world problems with cutting-edge science and want to pursue a career in pharmacy after completing their undergraduate work. You’ll learn from and work directly with our highly-rated faculty in classes with low student-to-faculty ratios. In addition to your program-related courses and hands-on training, you’ll receive personalized guidance from advisors on classes, work opportunities and more. Internships, community engagement and co-curricular opportunities will help you gain valuable hands-on experience while building intellectual and practical skills to succeed and make a difference in the medical field.
