The NKU Varsity Esports program was established in the Fall 2021 and has grown to over 50 student gamers and production crew members. Through weekly competition in ESC, NACE and, NECC NKU has won several championships, solidifying its place in the esports collegiate scene. NKU Varsity Esports will be participating in new seasons of weekly Rocket League, Valorant, League of Legends, Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, and Overwatch 2 competitions.

NKU Varsity Esports

NKU begins competing in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), the largest varsity collegiate esports association. With over 170 programs, NKU Esports will face off against some of the nation’s best players in multiplayer video game competitions. The inaugural varsity team will compete in Rocket League, an arcade-style game blending soccer and vehicular mayhem.
