Nurse Anesthesia Program
The Nurse Anesthesia Program (NAP) is a specialization of the DNP that will prepare graduates to assume the role of an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). 

The DNP is designed for those in direct clinical practice and areas that support clinical practice-administration, organizational management and leadership, education, and policy.

Nursing Informatics

Through the use of cutting edge technology and online instruction, the Master of Science in Nursing offers seven tracks to prepare Registered Nurses for Advanced Nursing Practice.

Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Distance Registered Nurse Bachelor of Science(RN-BSN) program provides career mobility for the registered nurse who needs the high flexibility that distance education can provide.

The DNP is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

The RN-BSN, MSN, Post Masters APRN and DNP have full approval status from the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Overall Certification Examination Pass Rate

The overall certification examination pass rate for all NKU Nurse Practitioner Programs is 89% for the period 2011 through 2014.
